Hollywood's Opening Day Ceremony this year was a blustery day, it started out with a wee bit of rain.  Most of the day lets say 95 percent was cloudy and cold. But we had a large crowd, lots of food and great music by Wayne Pulcini, he not only spins the music he plays the keyboard, the saxophone and the guitar.  Very talented.  Commodore Craig Ryan was very eloquent in his welcoming speech, Vice Commodore Jan Ryan was equally eloquent with a lesson in how some names are  hard to pronounce and the possibility of maybe changing them to be able to be pronounced by the public. Very nice Jan, Jan received a lovely bouquet from Craig for all the help he gives her and Jan awarded Craig a nice gift for his help to her," a six pack of beer".  if you missed the opening you missed a fun filled day.  Try to make it next year.  Enjoy the pictures.
